Town & Country Furniture
In 1961, a small furniture business was established in a
rural area called Blue Ridge. Blue Ridge is located about
90 minutes north of Atlanta Ga., and about 110 minutes east
of Chattanooga TN. When Town and Country was birthed it consisted
of two employees, one of which was the current owners mother
and one other salesperson.
Donna Whitener bought the company from her mother in 1997
and is the current owner today. Town and Country is now a
flourishing business that has achieved the task of meeting
the needs of its customers. Donna has been able to make the
business boom with success allowing the company to expand.
Since 1997, Donna has opened two new store locations. One
located in Blue Ridge and the other located about 20 miles
south in Ellijay Ga. The stores now consist of over 18 employees
that are accessible to making your dreams of a new piece of
furniture of a new hot tub come true. Town and Country is
said to be called a “one-stop shop” which can
be the place to find small cabin accessories, furniture, appliances,
hot tubs, pool table, flooring, and much more.
During the past year of 2005, Town and Country has had privilege
of supplying their customers with a full line of products
that can be found on their web site. Their web site includes
everything from small cabin accessories to the complete line
of furniture. Also, you will be able to find prices of all
the items found on the online store.
